She was suffering from pneumonia and taken Thursday to St. Vincent's Hospital from the Jewish Home for the Elderly where she had been residing for a couple of months. The community has lost a great woman, innovative educator, and a true friend.
The funeral will be held Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 9:30 am at Temple Sinai, Lakeside at Interlaken. For details check the Stamford Advocate or go online www.stamfordadvocate.com and check the obituaries either Friday or Saturday.
It is advised that if you plan on attending, arrive early as the parking will be limited. Religious School will be in session that morning. It has not been confirmed, but there may be offsite parking and shuttle service at Northeast School on Scofieldtown Road to accommodate the attendees.
