Virtual Family Dinner

Familydinner

This is something we should consider. That way, no one will ever eat dinner alone.

If one of your new year's resolutions is to sit down to more family dinners at the table, don't let your crazy schedule stop you. Accenture is developing a system called The Virtual Family Dinner that will allow families to get together - albeit virtually - as often as they'd like.

The system operates similarly to videoconferencing in the business world - but adds a component to let someone at the other end know when you put dinner down on the table. It will be available in about two years and will cost about $500 to $1,000.
