This past week we had our annual business school conference with Steven Levitt author of Freakonomics as the keynote. My job was to hang out with Steven Levitt. This job may sound cool if he was some sort of exciting professor but he is a professor and socio-economist. I did ask him about being on the Colbert Report. "It is such a crazy show you don't know what to expect because he doesn't read your book and just tries to bully you" Levitt recalled. What is interesting is that Levitt felt Colbert is insecure as he made sure that Stephen Colbert is a character and he does not mean to belittle him. I got a picture with him, but afterwards wondered why. It was like taking a picture with a teacher or a nerdy uncle.
