Best man was a cardboard cut-out

A best man who missed his friends' wedding still managed to steal the show – by sending along a cardboard cut-out of himself.

Andy Priaulx did have a good excuse for being absent, though – he was racing in Brazil.



The two-dimensional best man stood by the 34-year-old groom, Andy Richmond, at the altar, delivered his speech with the help of a recorded CD and even danced with guests at the disco.

Bride Carlee Yates, 27, was delighted by the extra effort Priaulx made to be a part of proceedings.
