$1 Million Ice Cream Cone

Now, this is my idea of a really good ice cream cone!

I can't say that the resemblance is uncanny, but diamond manufacturer Lazare Kaplan International's sparkling (and inedible) homage to Bruster's Real Ice Cream's signature cherry vanilla and waffle cone combination is certainly a headlining achievement. Because when 548 round diamonds, 87 emerald-cut diamonds, about 20 troy ounces of 18-karat yellow and white gold, and a 5.63-carat "Fancy Intense Yellow" radiant-cut diamond are involved in honoring a lactose intolerant's worst nightmare, it can't be anything less than news worthy, especially when it's got its own press release.

Priced at not a penny more than $1 million (because that would be ridiculous), the one-of-a-kind piece is actually for sale, with proceeds already earmarked for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America mentoring organization.
