A True Hero

Colt Haugen, a 22-year-old student at the University of Colorado and waiter at Ruby Tuesday, was working at the restaurant last month when he saw a man pull a pill from his pocket and put it in his date's glass when the woman got up from the table.

"I almost dropped the food I was holding. I couldn't believe what I was seeing," Haugen says.

"I talked with the manager. I told her, I said, 'I saw this plain as day. And if we don't do something about this, something's going to happen to this woman.'"

The police were called and when the drink was tested, it was found to contain Valium.

Nancy McGrath, the woman at the table, was on a blind date and considers Haughen to be an "angel." "He saved my life," she says.

As for her date, what would be an appropriate punishment? Because at the moment, he is free on bail. [The Early Show]

There is a true hero much bigger than Colt Haugen: Samuel Keith Irick! Irick gave his life saving the mother of three children. He (Irick) is the cousin of General of the Armies and President George Washington and speculatively, West Ford. Also, another hero than Colt Haugen: Craig A. Pepin! Pepin is a hero and more than that, a saint. Pepin is of French-Canadian origin!

There is another like Colt Haugen:
James Frederick Fayard, III! He gave his life saving a woman and he is the half-brother of Dennis Wayne Blum. He is a direct descendant of the First Families of Louisiana! Also, Fayard is a cousin of George Washington! Another one: Randall Kent Burris! Burris is the cousin of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington! Also a cousin of Moffat County resident, Owen Pence Dyar!

Last but not least, James Arlie Montgomery! He is a direct descendant of the founding fathers of Ulster Scots. He is a hero of aristocratic origin!

There is a hero like the Christian Colt Haugen: Jeremiah Alvin Neitz. Neitz is the distant cousin of Muhammad Ali (I am the greatest! says Ali!) and Simon Buckner. Neitz did stop the gunman for shooting anymore people and Neitz tried to convert the gunman to Christianity, but gunman took his own life. Neitz is a hero. It bears repeating.

There is another like Colt Haugen:
Gary Michael Joy! Joy gave his life saving a woman and her son. Mandy Hyda was happy and she will remember him for the rest of her days. Joy is a direct descendant of a Mayflower, a Boston Brahmin, American Revolution, Union Veteran and the architect of the first state house of Boston. As of January 8, 2010, his only living relative is James Arthur Joy. So, Gary Michael Joy is the Chuck Klesath of heroes.

There is a bigger hero than Colt Haugen: Roland L. Scobee, the lumberjack. He was a hero for telling neighbors to call 911 due to the crazy gunman and he was shot dead. Scobee was the second cousin, once removed of the world famous astronaut from the Challenger, Francis Richard "Dick" Scobee. It was touching they told Roland: "The birds will always be with you."
