So as some of you may or may not know, today I had the opportunity, along with 200 of my closest friends, to ring the closing bell of the NYSE. From the NYSE website:
On September 2, 2009 the NYSE Closing Bell® will ring from Emory University's Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, Georgia. NYSE Euronext CEO Duncan Niederaurer and Goizueta Business School Dean Larry Benveniste join hundreds of students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university in ringing The Closing Bell. This is the first time the New York Stock Exchange bell has been rung from a college or university campus or in the state of Georgia.
