Victory Garden | Hunger Hurts | Birthday in a Box
Victory Garden Kit – A gift in the name of a friend, colleague or family member that keeps on giving.
There is a Chinese proverb, “Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” The same can be said for fruits, vegetables and eggs.
With your donated funds, Family-to-Family will provide a Victory Garden Kit for one family in need living in one of three F-to-F sponsored communities. The Victory Garden Kit contains 10 egg-laying chickens, vegetable and fruit seeds for two 5’x8’ planting beds, a tool set, fertilizer and chicken feed…providing a family with the means to grow and produce fresh produce.

Hunger Hurts
Option 1: Give a gift of a one-year family sponsorship in the name of your chosen recipient. Your gift of $375 will purchase groceries providing 7 meals a month for 12 months for a family of 5 living in poverty in one of F-to-F’s seventeen U.S. sponsored communities.Family-to-Family will notify the recipient of your gift (your friend, colleague, family member, etc.) with a beautifully designed note card.
Option 2: Give a gift in the name of your chosen recipient that provides funds for emergency food relief for families in need waiting to be sponsored. Gifts can be $10, $25, $50, $100 or any amount of your choice.
A Birthday Party in a Box
For many poor children in our country, birthdays are just another day… celebrated without cake, goody bags, balloons or gifts. With your gift honoring your child, grandchild or another loved one, Family-to-Family will assemble and send one “Birthday Buddies” box at $25 per box, filled with everything needed for a small birthday party, to a child living in poverty. To date we’ve sent hundreds, but there are many more to send. A gift announcement card will be sent to your recipient.
