Interesting...

Chittenango, NY is they birthplace of L. Frank Baum, and they hold an event called Oz-Stravaganza. But this, year: Most Oz-Stravaganza activities canceled after high winds rip through Chittenango.

Most activities for the final day of Oz-Stravaganza have been canceled after a windstorm blew through Chittenango this morning, razing vendor tents and knocking down trees and power lines.

Lenox Lane was closed because several trees have fallen. A tree also fell in the parking lot of Advance Auto Parts on Genesee Street (Route 5) in Chittenango -- and fell onto a red pickup truck.

Some people said they saw a funnel cloud. Joanne LaBounty, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service, said they have heard reports of damage from weather spotters, but have not heard official reports of funnel clouds.
